Bucks County Haven
Second Place Winner ASID Interior Design Award for Residence over 3,500 Square Feet
Through a dramatic transformation, this house invited bolder scale, color, pattern and composition to balance existing modest proportions and conservative architectural detailing. Strong but simple gilded cornices reinforce a shimmering gold-leaf dining room ceiling, substantially raising the perceived height and crowning the scenic wallpaper encircling the room. The living room’s repeated vertical elements organize and extend its visual parameters, highlighting the complex aesthetic orchestration. The quiet serenity of the master bedroom palette creates a truly restful sanctuary.
