Cheri holds a leadership role at the firm directing conceptual planning, design development, and execution of major projects. As project manager, she coordinates interaction with architects, contractors, lighting designers, landscape architects and engineers, and organizes the contributions of craftsmen, fabricators and artisans. She champions the position of the client throughout the process, ensuring satisfaction and fruitful relationships. Her mastery of the total design process effectively translates conceptual ideas into real-world solutions.
After a successful career as an investigative reporter in Washington, DC, she joined an esteemed design firm and later the U.S. Department of State, where she applied her expertise to U.S. embassies, consulates and ambassadors’ residences overseas. Cheri focused her sharp analytical skills and inspired talent to the field of interior design. Her projects span the world, and include domestic and international diplomatic venues, homes and offices of top administration officials, and spaces for prominent leaders in business and the arts.
She received a Masters Degree in Interior Design from Drexel University where she graduated with honors. As an adjunct professor of interior design for over 10 years, she continues share her knowledge and enthusiasm for historic interiors, international design, art and antiques, and architectural sketching. She has been widely recognized for excellence in academia bringing energy, passion and excitement to every new design experience.
