American Splendor: The Residential Architecture of Horace Trumbauer
Barbara Eberlein was given exclusive access to this year’s craft show to select the winner of the Excellence in Design award from all of the 195 exhibitors for the 41st Annual Philadelphia Museum of Art Craft Show. The works by the country’s finest craft artists are glass, jewelry, both wearable and decorative fiber, metal, paper, leather, furniture, ceramic, wood, and mixed media. This year’s show features guest artists from Korea showcasing incredible work.

The expansive show at the Philadelphia Convention Center is presented annually by the Women’s Committee and Craft Show Committee of the Philadelphia Museum of Art for the benefit of the Philadelphia Museum of Art. Funds raised are used to purchase works of art and craft for the permanent collections of the Philadelphia Museum of Art, to fund conservation and publication projects and to support exhibitions and education program
