Artist’s Atelier

A charming horse stable built in the late 19th century was transformed to a sophisticated and vibrant multiuse space for a renowned Philadelphia artist and designer. The spectacular and thoughtfully converted 6500 square foot stable now serves as a jewelry studio, show room, art studio, gallery, and event space. Many gorgeous original elements of the building were preserved and thoughtful renovations were executed to seamlessly compliment the inherent aesthetic of the building. The conversion of a hidden, steep and narrow staircase to a captivating steel and cypress wood floating staircase makes an impactful statement. Also notable is the transformation of a standard row house roof to a breathtaking sculpture studded deck for large scale entertaining.
