FROM THE FORWARD OF
American Splendor: The Residential Architecture of Horace Trumbauer
Conceiving office space for a design firm can be a risky endeavor: too individualistic and it could have limited appeal while too general and it may lose its creative spark. Luckily, this space was so specific in its aesthetics that there was no choice by to play along and let it be what it wanted to be. Astonishingly, what looks like a Vermont ski lodge is actually they original executive offices in an historic bank building. Amplifying the character it already exuded produced a rich, warm unique environment just right for free flowing creativity.
