This expansive townhouse has undergone years of careful restoration, from the original vestibule tile to the layered pattern of period wallpapers, from the fanciful oak millwork to the ornamental fixtures and hardware. The kitchen and breakfast room were completely rebuilt providing spaces for both festive entertaining and private repose. Filled with period furnishings amassed over the years, this house is evocative of a genteel era when hearth and home were the center of life and the apogee of personal expression.
