FROM THE FORWARD OF
American Splendor: The Residential Architecture of Horace Trumbauer
One of the grandest 18th century houses in Fairmount Park was the setting for this holiday installation. We were given free reign in the museum’s storage collections to furnish this house in its original spirit. This treasure trove yielded exceptional portraits, exemplary furniture and notable silver and porcelain collections, all coming together to create a memorable experience.
